Srinagar, Jan 27 (KNO) : The Kashmir Economic Alliance (KEA) Chairman, Haji Mohammed Yasin Khan has condemned the continued bloodbath terming it “genocide” of Kashmiri Muslims by the state government. In a statement, Khan who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) said Such death of dance cannot facilitate restoration of peace. If Chief Minister says that killings won’t resolve Kashmir why do killings continue to take place,” Mr Khan said. Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families, Khan said such killings would only fester Kashmir crises than bring any fruitful results. “Where does it happen other than Kashmir that peace protesters or stone-pelters or that matter are treated with bullets. This is nothing but genocide of Kashmiri Muslims,” he said. Khan, who also heads the Kashmir Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF) said the government should feel ashamed for its failure to safeguard precious human life, This all suggests a strategic genocide. He appealed the international community particularly Amnesty International to put pressure on the Indian government to end the civilian killings in Kashmir.(KNO)
